Principal's Message

Palm Terrace Elementary is located in Daytona Beach, right next to the Daytona International Speedway and has been serving students in grades VPK through Fifth Grade since 1992.  Within the classrooms at Palm Terrace, "every effort is made to ensure that each child has a reasonable chance to win." 

More specifically, I believe it's my responsibility to not only improve student achievement, but to make a positive difference in the lives of the families we serve as well.  Keeping this mission in mind, it is up to all of us to work together to make sure each child is emotionally safe and secure and learning grade-level standards at a high level of rigor.    

It is no secret that it takes a village to raise a child and I am extremely proud of the partnerships Palm Terrace has with local establishments:  Daytona International Speedway, Consolidated Tomoka, Tijuana Flats, Daytona State College, Bethune-Cookman University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, YMCA, Holiday Inn Express (Daytona Beach Shores) and Hudson Furniture.  By combining our school-based and community efforts I am confident that we are providing our students with unforgettable elementary school experiences.
